Apple iPad or Dell Streak: Which would you prefer?

Apple iPad has got fantabulous response after its launch in UK. Long queues had been seen outside the store since morning. First in line outside Apple’s flagship shop in Regent Street, London, was student Jake Lee, 17. Some lucky online buyers received theirs a day early. This is the rush, madness and excitement going on for the iPad. But this madness and excitement for Apple iPad is intolerable for Apple’s rivals and it has been showed first by Dell who is planning to launch Dell Streak in the first week of June.

If I talk about similarities then both models represents a whole new world of technology in terms of design, features and applications. Both these models ensure super fast connectivity, ultimate web browsing experience, powerful entertainment with its vivid multimedia applications both works on ARM chips and are running smart phone operating systems.

But apart from the above same features, Dell has got some unique features which truly make it quite different from Apple iPad. The Streak has got 5 inch screen whereas the iPad offers 9.7 inch which is quite larger in size. It supports Adobe’s Flash player 10.1 in the browser and soon be getting Android 2.2 update which is to be noted in terms of its efficiency and power.

Last but not the least, Dell Streak will be hitting on June 4th of this month and its starting price would be exactly the same as the 16GB Wi-Fi version of iPad. It has got some unique features too and the prominent one is Android 2.2 but still the big question is, can Dell Streak beat the Apple iPad, which already gets set for a global launch and sold more than 2 million copies so far.
